SNM143: What To Do When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed

Some days keeping up with it all can become a bit too much. Trying to balance work, a new career, family, and health all at the same time can be quite difficult.  If you ever have days where you just feel like you can't catch up, then you need to listen to this episode.

The Problems Never Stop

No matter where you get in life, there will be new challenges waiting for you.

As soon as you conquer health, you have to face relationship challenges.

As soon as you conquer relationship challenges, business starts to suffer.

Expecting to reach a time in life where all the challenges are gone is a panacea.  It will never happen.

The challenges in life force us to grow, improve as humans, and become stronger.

Face Your Monsters

Bad emotions only have power until we hand that power over.

We let them convince us to curl up into a state of inaction.

They cannot survive active resistance.

Make a physical decision to resist those overwhelming feelings.

Don't think that you are alone.

We all have tough days and by working together we can overcome them.

Don't be afraid to reach out to your friends and loved ones for a little support.

It's a Journey

Even after all these years I still struggle with the occasional overwhelming worry or spot of depression.

I'm working on some new books on these subjects that will cover exactly how I keep these monsters at bay.

Until they are ready, please join me on today's episode.
