How do you feel about people who are excellent at social media? Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, you name it; they know how to do it! Do you envy them and wish you were just like them? And, do you think that being good at social media is a skill you need to master in order to grow your business? I am here to tell you that being good at social media can help you grow your business, but it does not at any means mean that you yourself have to be an expert in it.
When I started using the internet to promote my business, Myspace was still a thing and I was amazing at it. After that, I fell out of the wagon. I didn’t need to be good at it anymore. Why?
Because it took me 10 years to create the best team, I can so they will do the things I have gaps in.
The first way to build a successful business is to find people who are experts. You don’t need to be an SEO, WordPress, a webpage development, or a video editor. You can find people to that for you, and you can focus on that thing you do best.
The next thing you can do to improve your business is to use any kind of software. Today there are different free and paid apps that will be useful to you in every step of the way! For example, ProWritingAid is awesome for editing books. You pay for it once and you get to use it forever with no additional cost.
The last thing is to invest in your team. If you have a team member that you see a potential in, invest as much as you can in them. Whatever software they need, or if they need training or a course you can provide, that can be a very powerful and profitable investment in the future.
And remember, you don’t have to be an expert in Social media to be on Social Media. Just give your best, at best you will get even more traffic on your site.
