- Secure Your Membership Experience Bonus
Welcome to my review and bonus for the Membership Experience. You don’t need to read until the end. I’m a fan of this program. I used it to build and launch my own membership last year, called the Serve No Master Academy. I have tried building an online membership in the past and I kept hitting walls. This is my first success with a recurring revenue program.
If you’re here you are deciding of Membership Experience (formerly called Tribe) by Sty Mclaren is right for your business. Or maybe you’re just looking for the best bonus. If that’s the case, feel free to scroll to the bottom for my epic Membership Experience Bonus.
Launch a Membership Site
This program is built around one core idea, recurring revenue. Whether you are building a forum, a discord server, or delivering recipes…any business model where you get paid every month falls into this category.
The program was originally called Tribe because you want your members to feel like a part of your tribe. This new and improved iteration of the program is focused on giving your members an unforgettable experience.
My experience with this program has been nothing but positive. My members are ecstatic and the program had generated over $8,000 in revenue. Significantly more than the cost of this program.
The Tribe Team
Stu Mclaren
After founding Wishlist Member, the very first membership plugin I used, Stu grew the business to 7 figures. After working with hundreds of customers using his tool, Stu built up a massive catalog of knowledge. He could see which membership sites worked and which ones failed. He collated all of this data to form the Membership Experience.
He existed Wishlist to switch from providing membership tools, to teaching people how to build membership programs that succeed. This shift has led to thousands of success stories and many students who were able to quit their 9-5s.
Jonathan Green
While I’m not part of the Tribe Experience team, I am a customer and you’re reading my blog post. You definitely want to know who is writing the reviews you’re reading. I’ve been a full-time online marketer since Feb of 2010 when I was fired from my dream job.
I now live on a tropical island in paradise with my four kids and I’m passionate about helping other people to build their dream lives. I’m careful in my vetting process for products I talk about and I’m heavily invested in your success as a Membership Experience student.
The Membership Experience Review
This program is broken down into six modules which make it easier to learn the Tribe membership model. Each of these modules comes with a workbook filled with great examples from past students as well as exercises for you to follow in building your new membership site.
In the first module, Stu dives deep into the different types of membership sites, what works in different markets and how to figure out what you will offer to your members. This module lays the foundation for building a site that will appeal to your audience and actually succeed. I found a lot ot the training in this module to be quite surprising and it really changed how I thought about connecting with my audience.
In model two, we learn what content to put into your membership site. For a long time, I thought that I needed to pour more and more content into my members. That there was no such thing as too much. But I was wrong. I learned that the main reason people leave programs is too much information. They jump ship because they feel overwhelmed. Your membership should deliver no more than one hour of content per week, and sometimes two per month is more than enough.
In module three, we dive into marketing strategies. Are you going to leave your membership open every day or are you going to keep it closed most of the year. If you want to keep it evergreen, you need to create a new reason for people to join every single month. If you’re a follower of Wishlist member like I am, you’ll see they run a different promotion with a new bonus every month. These rotate every year. If you’re going to do the launch model, you can actually get more members in because this is their one chance. Both models are taught in great detail and you can plan your launch strategy effectively.
In module four, it’s time to dive into marketing tactics. How will you tell people about your membership program? Will you run a launch, invite partners to promote, run a live webinar or host a livestream? These are just a few of the ways to launch your membership and each method is clearly explained with step-by-step instructions. Most of you will start with a founder’s launch to get in your first batch of customers and recover your investment in the Membership Experience as quickly as possible.
In module five, we learn about retention. Why do people quit memberships and what can we do to get them to stay longer? There are four critical reasons why people stick around (one of them is community) and Stu shows how to leverage each of them to keep your members with you for years. There is a right way to welcome new members to the fold that will get them to become super fans. There are also very powerful strategies for changing your pricing over time without losing your initial members.
Module six is all about growth. When should you hire new employees and which roles should you fill first. How can you scale your business and keep the membership continually growing? You can turn your membership into a process and create an entire year’s worth of content in advance. This will allow your business to run on autopilot and you can focus on the things that matter in life.
Pros and Cons of Membership Experience
This program is not for the faint of heart. You do have to put in actual work to launch and build a membership site. As it’s a recurring program, you will have to offer new value to your customers every single month or they’ll all quit. This is a method of building an online business that works, however it does require real effort to work. Just like any other business.
The biggest advantage of this business model is that you get paid every single month by your customers. Recurring revenue provides job security and will allow you to invest more time into your membership site. As it grows, you can hire more employees to support you. Getting paid every month without having a boss is the best of both worlds.
The biggest negative is that subscriptions and memberships are hard. It’s a lot easier to get someone to pay for something once than it is to get them to sign up to pay every month. That means your offer has to be more compelling. This extra work can be stressful while you are figuring out how to make it work. There can be a steep learning curve. Additionally, people will quit your membership program no matter how good it is. It doesn’t feel good when that happens.
With every business model, there is risk. It might not work for you. You might not like this process. Those things can happen. If you don’t follow the steps, do the homework, and launch a membership site…the program won’t work. It can’t. It only works if you take action. That means you need to put your personal time and real effort into the program. That’s the one ingredient that you have complete control over.
If you do take action and implement this program, I know that it works. Stu has a deep understanding of memberships and this program is the best one that I’ve encountered in my career.
Why I’m Promoting The Membership Experience
I’m an affiliate for this program. I get paid a commission for every single sale that comes through my link. But. That applies to every single person posting reviews or offering bonuses for this program. Unlike most of them, my real name is all over this website. I am a real follower of this method and I launched my membership following what you will learn when you sign up.
I like this business model because it provides real financial security. It doesn’t require a large financial investment to work. You don’t have to buy anything other than the program to make this work and they have an amazing quick start process. Stu teaches exactly how you can launch your membership within the first week of the program to get that first dollar coming in.
I am financially incentivized to sell copies of this program, but that applies to every single program out there. This is the one I”m talking about because I have been through the training and used it to make thousands of dollars. I’m a believer.
Should You Buy The Membership Experience
If you need to split the payment across multiple credit cards or borrow money from a family member, this isn’t the right program for you. I will never encourage people to go into debt for a program. There is always another program and this one might not be the right fit for you.
When choosing which programs to recommend I put them through a vigorous process from reviewing the product to checking the ethics of the company behind that product. I always check to see if they honor their refund policies and how they treat their customers. That’s very important to me and Stu and his team have exceeded my expectations.
Additionally, this is a system that can adapt and survive changes in the market. You can build memberships in different niches delivering everything from virtual training to luxury goods boxes. That breadth of usability gives me confidence that you can succeed with this program.
My bonuses are designed to appeal to people who are looking for the best bonus or who want to buy this program but are looking for the best deal. I am not here to convince people who aren’t a good fit for this program. That’s not a good use of my time. I want you to succeed with this system and my bonus package is designed to accelerate that success.
