Christine Cassello was born in Chicago, IL on February 14, 1946. She still lives in the neighborhood she grew up in at the border of South Shore and South Chicago. She has written since early childhood, but THE HUNTER AND THE DEER is her first book. Her Second book, THE SALTY PRINCE are more poem stories. She is a member of Labor Of Love Apostolic Church. She is also a member of The Chicago Senior Clown Troupe, sings in the Renaissance Court chorus and does volunteer work for Creative Writing Institute and Coastal Pet Rescue.
